The night started with the Young Leaders doing a skit, based on I’m a Leader (celebrity) get me out of here. Although I'm sure it was rigged in favour of the young leaders, the leaders stomped home to a very good victory. We then moved on to the more formal part of the evening. With the various reports that need to be presented at the AGM over and done with, we started our presentations. First up were the Beavers. Both Penguin and Bobcat presented them.

Alison presented the award for Cubs, as unfortunately, Akela was working.

• Cub All Rounder - Vincent McClave and Josiah Anderson

• Most Improved – Clayton Faraday

• Scout of the Year – Sam Denyer

All the Sections also thanked the young leaders and leaders for their help over the last 12 months. As we returned to face to face from virtual scouting.

Our local MP for Luton North Sarah Owen MP attending and said “I had a really wonderful time with Leagrave Scouts. It was officially the most fun AGM I have ever been to!” She also promised us that she would attend a hike with us, so watch this space!!
Malachi Francis a Young Leader in Cubs is attending the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea. We are all so proud of Malachi, but he needs funds to get there, which is why he was selling snacks at the AGM.
