Friday had the Scouts on a hike in the dark. The scouts did a good job of navigating and also visited a trig point. The aim was not to do the distance but to concentrate on map reading skills. We covered 4km but did some technical map reading. They were getting to an exact point on the map. The parents knew we were on the way back.
